Recently, I had the great pleasure of photographing the Petroiu family from Canada during their vacation in the stunning Riviera Maya. Our sessions took place in two picturesque locations: the tranquil shores of Puerto Morelos and the vibrant beaches of Playa del Carmen. The goal was to capture the deep bond between mother and children, creating lasting memories against the backdrop of these beautiful destinations.
In Puerto Morelos, we embraced the serene atmosphere, utilizing the calm turquoise waters and pristine beaches to create intimate and natural portraits. The focus was on the genuine interactions between family members, highlighting the mother’s unwavering love and affection for her children.
Our second session in Playa del Carmen offered a more dynamic setting. We explored Fifth Avenue, capturing spontaneous moments of laughter and joy amidst the vibrant energy of the surroundings. The colorful architecture and lively atmosphere provided a beautiful contrast to the quieter moments of our first session.
Throughout both sessions, my goal was to not only document posed portraits, but also the authentic connections and emotions shared within the Petroiu family. These images are a testament to their love and a cherished memento of their unforgettable experience in the Riviera Maya. It was an honor to be a part of capturing these precious memories.
