Amreen, from the United States, contacted me three months before her Cancun vacation. She wanted a beautiful Cancun maternity photography session on the beach. Initially, she dreamed of a red sunset sky behind her family photos. However, Cancun’s geography creates different lighting conditions during sunset.
In Cancun, the sun rises over the Caribbean Sea. Therefore, sunrise sessions offer vibrant colors and softer natural light. On the other hand, sunsets appear over the land. As a result, the beach does not reflect the intense red tones many clients expect.
After explaining this, I recommended a sunrise maternity session instead. Additionally, I shared examples from previous beach sessions in Cancun. Amreen immediately loved the idea and booked her session without hesitation.
We photographed this beautiful family session at Playa Gaviota Azul in Cancun. The morning sky displayed incredible colors across the ocean. Meanwhile, the soft sunrise light created a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. We also captured stunning images on the famous large rock at the beach.
This maternity session included Amreen, her husband, and their young daughter. Together, they created unforgettable memories during their Cancun vacation.
